Chaos surrounds us all hence being balanced is important. Even though we all wish that the problems and chaos of our lives would end, they don’t. It is us humans who create chaos firsthand, and it is us too to be in balance. Funny, isn’t it?

Having balance is extremely crucial in this era and will be in the upcoming times as well. The reason would be that there would be even more harmful stimuli around us to affect us.

In the 80s and 90s, thoughts about mental peace and mental health were a taboo. Now in professional athlete’s contracts, the first thing the contract mentioned is: “Are you mentally at peace? Have you been seeing or consulting someone?”

The chaos around us makes sure we are a part of it. Few people in our time still manage to be have balance in life. Brining balance to life takes effort and time because it is an aspect of our lives that needs to be perfect. Perfection does need time and effort.

If you are new to the idea of brining balance to life amid this chaos and you are finding ways to do so, don’t worry. Here are a few steps you can start with.

Spirituality

At some point in our lives, we might have heard from our family members or friends that they have started meditating to calm themselves down.

The reason people meditate is that it blocks the chaos and lets you search within for what the world truly is. Outside this chaos, there is a peaceful world.

People meditate to find that. All of us have an energy in ourselves that helps us function every day. Find that energy. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Focus on what is inside you and forget what is outside you.

Yogis, gurus, businessmen, and women are people who know who they truly are because they know what is inside them that keeps them alive and keeps them functioning properly. Spirituality helps you find who you truly are when chaos tries to influence you.

Exercise

We often leave out the moral part of exercising. It builds Discipline and mental strength. Being balanced requires mental strength and discipline too.

Going to the gym or just maintaining the fitness levels for the first few days feels like we are doing something good with ourselves, but the real challenge starts after one week. When we start feeling tired and we start to think “it is too hard to continue”, we quit.

The idea of quitting is a part of the chaos too. Getting in the shape we always imagine requires months of diet and exercise. This constant hardship will make you unbreakable in the chaos. It will make you balanced.

Follow a routine. Give it the required time and eat healthy and balanced meals.

Additionally, Let your body and mind be shaped in a way that stays unaffected no matter how big or small the chaos is.

Family

Our families are precious. Their unconditional love, care, and affection are what makes them precious. In chaos, where every emotion and every word that comes out of people’s mouths are fraudulent, our families express and convey their true thoughts and emotions.

Invest your energy to spend quality time with your family. Family members will never let you down and will support you even in the most difficult times. They provide the emotional support any person needs. You can rely on them in your life.

Our parents reflect on what we do. Their experiences and observations over the decades will help you set aside from the chaos.

Being balanced requires you to surround yourself with good people. Make beautiful memories with them so that on days that do not go as planned, you can think of those memories and feel a little bit.

Rewards

We believe that when we start a course of hard work, we should not take breaks. The fact is we should take breaks and reward ourselves with something from time to time.

Being balanced is supposed to help you in the chaos, not trouble you. When you stay consistent for a very long period, you may burn out. To avoid being inconsistent we should take small breaks.

While we work, let’s say for one year, we should go on a 4–5-day vacation. If we work continuously for 10-15 hours straight, we should have 2-3 hours of break.

Reward yourself with some delights. Do something that helps relax you or have something sweet if you have a sweet tooth, it releases dopamine and serotonin also known as the happy hormones. Being in chaos and maintaining consistency requires breaks and rewards too!

Faith

It is the chaos that has defined the rules. Success, however, needs something more than rules. It needs passion and commitment.

If someone tells you to stop working on something that you always dreamt of doing. Always have faith and continue your path towards what you were dream of.

If you don’t, people will influence you and drag you back into the chaotic world. You may end up doing some work that you don’t even like. We should always have faith to avoid chaos because chaos sets boundaries and we need to be free.

The kinder you are, the happier you get.
